Photography
SCPRT offers high quality photography to editorial media to support stories on travel and tourism to South Carolina.
All requests for photography should clearly state how its use will meet this standard (examples of acceptable uses are below) and will be reviewed by the Public Relations & Information Group of SCPRT before approval. All interpretations of requests and whether requests meet the standard will be made at the discretion of the agency. If at any time the agency discovers the actual use of the photography was contrary to the purposes stated in a request, the matter will be considered improper and actionable.
Additionally, no image can be distorted, cropped or altered without the written permission of SCPRT. If possible, all photography should be credited to the S.C. Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism, DiscoverSouthCarolina.com.

Examples of acceptable uses are:
Travel news, editorial and feature placements about South Carolina in general consumer publications (must not be affiliated with organizations or groups that restrict members based on religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, creed, national origin or ethnicity.)
Public relations or promotions sponsored by non-profit organizations of the South Carolina travel and tourism industry.
Trip- or itinerary-building Web sites and booking engines online that provide services for travel to South Carolina that are not provided on SCPRT’s multiple Web sites. (DiscoverSouthCarolina.com; SavorSouthCarolina.com; SCmediaroom.com; SouthCarolinaStoryIdeas.com; SouthCarolinaParks.com; SouthCarolinaGolf.com)
SCPRT-sponsored placements in publications and online sources.
SCPRT collateral, websites and material that support the promotion of SCPRT events.
