Destination Specific Tourism Marketing Grant Program
The Destination Specific Tourism Marketing Grant Program of the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism is a matching funds grant.
The funding for this program is governed by Proviso 39.2 and 39.9 in the Appropriations Act for Budget Year 2012-13. The funds will not be available for disbursement until after July 30, 2012.

Grant applications will be accepted by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism for the first review cycle beginning July 16, 2012. August 1, 2012 is the last day grant applications will be accepted for the first review cycle. Organizations submitting grant applications for the first review cycle will be notified of the results of their application no later than August 16, 2012.
Following the first grant cycle, subsequent grant applications will be accepted by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism on the 1st day of each quarter beginning in December 2012. Grants submitted will be evaluated and notification will be made to the requesting organization by the 15th of the following month.
