How do I get my tourism product or event listed on PRT’s website?
If your tourism product is not currently listed on the website, please contact the appropriate Data Editor to see if you qualify for a tourism product listing.
If you want to update a current listing, go to SCPRT.com and log on to the Partner Login box located on the left navigation bar. Enter your user id and password.
Is there a fee to participate in this program?
There is no charge to participate in this program.
What is a tourism product or event?

What qualifies as a tourism product?
• Must be a legally operating and tax-paying (if applicable) business.
• Must be located within the borders of the state of South Carolina and have a South Carolina site or street mailing address.
• Must be reasonably clean and meet state Department of Health guidelines, if applicable.
• Admission must be available to the general public without discrimination on the basis of race, creed, age, sex, or nationality according to South Carolina law.
• Cannot promote gaming/gambling, nudity, drunkenness, or lewd behavior.

How many tourism products can I list?
You may list all of your tourism products, as long as they are accepted under SCPRT's publishing guidelines. Each tourism product will be given a unique password, but you may use the same User ID that was originally issued to you.
Who do I contact to find out if my business qualifies as a tourism product?
Review the publishing guidelines, and then contact the appropriate Data Editor for your type of tourism business.
How do I change the information contained in my tourism product listing?
To change a listing, go to SCPRT.com and log on to the Partner Login box located on the left navigation bar. Enter your user id and password. Click on Update a Listing to open the login screen. Enter your User ID (email address) and Password.
Once you have input all of the information and double-checked it for accuracy, spelling and grammar, click the submit button to enter it into the system.
Your changes will be reviewed by the appropriate Data Editor and either accepted or rejected. You will receive an automatically generated email advising you the requested changed have been reviewed. Please remember, PRT reserves all rights for final editing of tourism product descriptions.
I received an email that states, "Your product listing is currently under review by a Data Editor. Please try again later." What does this mean?
The message means that you can not submit additional updates to your product listing until your Data Editor has finished reviewing and/or editing your submission. Once you receive an automated email notifying you that your changes have been either accepted or rejected by your Data Editor, you may make additional changes to your tourism product listing.
How often can I update my tourism product information?
As frequently as your needs dictate, the Partner Login system is available 24/7.
Are there any major deadlines I need to be aware of?
Partners will be notified via e-mail or letter of any major deadlines.
What happens if I lose my password?
If you are a registered user but have misplaced your password, go to SCPRT.com and log onto the Partner Login box located on the left navigation bar. Click on Update a Listing to open the login screen. Click on "I am a registered user and I have lost my password." Enter the email address associated with your tourism product and click the Send Password button. You will receive an automatically generated email with your original user ID and password. Once you login, you will be prompted to change your password.
Who are the Data Editors and what do they do?
SCPRT's Data Editors are responsible for managing the data that supplies the content for the agency’s website and various publications. The Data Editors were selected to represent large data groupings within PRT: Accommodations, Attractions and Festivals and Events. State Parks, Technology Services and On-line Marketing are also represented on the team.

Who can use PRT’s Electronic Marketing service?
South Carolina’s tourism industry partners associated with any tourism-related lodging, attraction, or event product in PRT’s Enterprise database can use the Electronic Marketing system. Qualified industry partners will receive a letter from PRT designating a user ID and a unique password for each of their business(es).
If you do not know whether your company has a product in the PRT’s Enterprise database, please contact the appropriate Data Editor.
