Columbia, S.C. – The South Carolina Film Commission is providing a grant to support the production of BOUND, an independent young adult thriller slated to film in Blythewood, SC, this winter. Through the University of South Carolina's Get On Set initiative, students will gain hands-on production experience, continuing the state's commitment to developing South Carolina's film workforce.

Get On Set is a partnership between the South Carolina Film Commission, USC, and Local Cinema Studios that places students and emerging filmmakers alongside experienced industry professionals on professional productions, providing real-world training while helping strengthen South Carolina’s film crew base.

“This is exactly the kind of work the ‘Get On Set’ initiative was created for, bringing South Carolina filmmakers, educators, students and industry professionals together to create meaningful projects while building the next generation of the state’s film workforce,” said Matt Storm, Director, South Carolina Film Commission.
