Inspired by writer/director Laura Chinn's life experience from the early 2000s, SUNCOAST follows an awkward teenage outcast (Nico Parker) who comes of age against the backdrop of a Florida hospice where her brother (Cree Kawa) is dying and her mother (Laura Linney) is grieving. She strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric pro-life activist (Woody Harrelson) amidst protests surrounding one of the most landmark medical cases of all time.
