Tourism Industry Partner:
The South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism is pleased to offer the Tourism Advertising Grant (TAG) again for fiscal year 2022-2023. As you know, SCPRT redesigned the former Tourism Partnership Fund (TPF) in 2012, giving it a new name, a consolidated focus of fundable items, new criteria and new guidelines. The feedback has been so positive we are happy to continue with the TAG program.
The mission of the Tourism Advertising Grant is to expand the economic benefits of tourism across the state by providing competitive, matching grant funds to qualified tourism marketing partners for direct tourism advertising expenditures.
As you prepare to apply for a grant, please read the Program Overview, Core Stipulation and Funded Guidelines documents carefully. These documents cover the grant categories and their eligibility requirements in detail. The type of fund category is predetermined by your organization’s mission and goals, and once again you choose the match rate based on your marketing budget.
The TAG application information can be found in the Application Process and TAG Application documents. Please note the deadline for submitting applications is 5 p.m. on April 1st, 2022.
If you have questions about the Tourism Advertising Grant program, please contact Industry Relations Manager Becky Moore at bmoore@scprt.com.
We look forward to our continued partnership with the many tourism entities across the state.
Kindest regards,
Dolly Chewning
Director of Sales and Marketing
