Tim Nichols

You may not recognize the name Tim Nichols, but people across America—and around the world—recognize and love his music.

The Grammy and CMA award-winning songwriter behind some of the biggest country hits of the last thirty years, Tim built his celebrated career writing for chart-topping artists like Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire Alan Jackson, Jo Dee Messina, and Keith Whitley.

In 2004, Tim co-wrote Tim McGraw’s smash hit “Live Like You Were Dying.” It is the only song to have won every major country award presented for songwriting. In 2017, Tim was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is also a New York Times best-selling author.

Today, Tim continues to write hits for some of country music’s biggest stars. A sought-after keynote speaker, Tim speaks to audiences about creativity, collaboration, and lessons learned from a life spent working with some of the most popular musical artists in the world.
